Do run run run?

In common with probably least half the country I have decided 2014 is the year I am going to get fit.  So today I walked for 2 minutes then ran for 2 minutes repeated 3 times.  Apparently from the small beginnings of me staggering about wheezing like I was about to expire,* for 120 ridiculously long seeming seconds, in but 5 weeks, I will be happily, well, probably staggering about wheezing, but for 30 minutes at a time folks.  That is (hopefully) the best part of 5k.  

* I'm reminded of my swimming teacher who once refused to give me my 1500m swimming badge because I was wheezing too much after completing the distance.  I had ASTHMA doofus!  Yep, still bitter.  

I have done couch to 5k before, 4 years and 2 children ago, and my main comfort is just how astonishingly quickly my fitness increased last time.  I mean relatively obviously, but still it was a pretty great feeling.  I'm planning to document my efforts here because: accountability.
